Yes, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit social organization that promotes the cultural, professional, and economic interests of Iowans.

  1. Yes, there is a small membership fee (Link to membership fee page) to join. It’s $25 dollars for young professionals (under 28 yrs old), and $50 for mid-career professionals (28-35 yrs old), and $75 for career professionals. Please contact StatesocietyofIowa@gmail.com for corporate sponsorship.

OUR BOARD

Executive Director of the State Society of Iowa. Nate is also the Director of the Iowa and Defense portfolios at The Porter Group a government affairs and business consulting group in Washington, DC.

Jen is the Chief of State to Sen. Chuck Grassley. She enjoys traveling to all of Iowa’s 99 counties each summer and coaching the IoWINS congressional softball team.

Trenton is an agri-business legislative staffer for Sen. Joni Ernst. Outside of work he enjoys exploring the city using the Capital Bikeshare program.

Evan is a legislative staffer for Rep. Zach Nunn. Outside of work he likes to play the ukulele and read.
